Welding technology of aluminum alloy toolbox.
1. Pre-welding preparation: adopt mechanical or chemical methods to prevent clearing the oxide film on both sides of the weld groove; machine clearing can use electric or pneumatic milling cutters, scrapers, files and other things and copper wire brushes; after clearing Welding shall be carried out immediately, and if the scheduled time exceeds 4 hours, the liquidation shall be reset.
2. Choose welding wire: generally use 301 pure aluminum welding wire and 311 aluminum silicon welding wire.
3. Extraction welding method and parameters: Generally, the left welding method is used, and the welding torch and the workpiece form a 60° angle. When the welding thickness is more than 15mm, if the right welding method is used, the welding torch and the workpiece form a 90° angle.
4. Difficulties in welding of aluminum boxes: easy to oxidize: because aluminum boxes are generally made of aluminum or aluminum alloy as raw materials, and aluminum or aluminum alloys are easily oxidized during the welding process, resulting in dense aluminum oxide film. In the welding process, it will hinder the fusion of the basic metal, which is easy to cause defects such as non-fusion, pores, etc., which will cause the performance of the weld to decrease
